I remember when I saw the articles reporting that Google had purchased YouTube back in 2006. I feared that an independent platform for free speech would come to an end. Unfortunately, that day is here. The recent purge of independent news blogs, alternative media, and free thinkers has left countless channels in a void. With no warning and almost no explanation beyond some vague community guideline violations, channel hosts are left in shock. Years of work on videos, content, editing, marketing, and networking have vanished in seconds.
My channel, which started in November 2014, has also been wiped out. Around 500 two-hour HD produced video interviews are gone. My channel had over 2 million views and over 7,000 subscribers. This doesn’t just affect my numbers or content, as I still have copies, but consider this on a smaller scale. This year (2018), my first book was set to come out, with advertisements for the book inserted into each show uploaded. Potential fans looking for exactly what I would be offering are now cut off, drastically affecting any future profits and projects.
On a larger scale, look at what is happening. A platform created for sharing and free speech has now caught on to changing how the world views information. This very platform can yank the foundational feet of a free society out from under it.
The YouTube channel known as The Official Chance George Channel, formerly the Media Broadcasting Center (MBC), had around 500 video interviews with people such as Jim Fetzer and myself as host to most of the major names in the Truth Movement. We had an entire video series dedicated to exploring the events of 9/11 called "911 Talks," hosted by Bev Collins. Bev interviewed every single major player in the 9/11 movement with class. Now, all these shows are gone, and all the links are dead.
Effective immediately, I will be re-uploading every single episode we ever aired. This time, taglines like "Banned from YouTube" or "Censored Video" will be in the titles, which will, in turn, grow the numbers back to and far beyond previous amounts. I only had a video channel because my very small audio show on Blog Talk Radio was deleted and censored as well. I doubled down my efforts and created this, which is now gone too. But I continue along my path of learning.
I think I am almost more troubled by the fact that the channels I subscribed to are gone. I watched so many diverse channels on such a range of topics that I feel like I’ve just been robbed of all my textbooks. Where do I begin to start over?
I will be posting a new channel right here below, and I am looking into different platforms that don’t censor, even if it means paying for a platform that is not free just to guarantee the information is not lost. This should serve as a reminder that not just a channel on YouTube but the entire internet itself could one day be gone. Don’t take it for granted. Download copies of books, videos, documentaries, and any other information that one day will be gone or simply controlled and restricted from public use.
Check below for new and old videos and a list of other channels that have been removed as well. Thanks! I will also create my own personal channel to highlight live events, featured interviews, as well as my music and crazy adventures.
One more small way to fight back that is quick and easy: please leave us your email so if any further interruptions happen to this site or our channel, we can reach out to you and let you know where we have moved. Thanks again.
